Trip to China

Haha I’ve been back for the 4th day and I am still too lazy to post about my trip. But I have to right. Last year I wanted to post for such a long time but I didn’t!!!

Okay this whole post will be damn long with damn a lot of pictures. Some I’ve already posted before.

My mum’s friend’s son who is a PhD and a professor in 川大 and he’s like 39 and he’s had so many girlfriends. But he’s still not married yet. OMG. LOL

God family no 2. I knew them only like 2 months before I left for Singapore. My godmother is my mum’s friend’s (the one with the professor son) niece.
We were in the building they built themselves. It’s 6 storeys, on a mountain, beside 西科大. They rent 2 storeys to students and they changed 2 storeys into “hotel rooms” (they used to rent out all the rooms). Imagine how rich they are. They have 3 huge houses. One’s this (they stay on the 6th floor), another’s a 300+ SqM bungalow on a small island in 绵阳, and another 200+ SqM 2-storey flat, in which the grandparents stay in. And my godfather has a factory (idk what factory haha)

Guess what, the whole christmas tree + deco costs 100+RMB only!

I don’t really get what this company does, but probably it builds machines and stuff. But my mum wasn’t a factory worker or anything. Haha. I think she was doing 企业管理 or something.

FAM was quite a disappointment! Food was really bad, for 65 bucks. I mean paying 5/10 bucks for them is still acceptable, but 65 bucks just for those?! OMG. And it was really unfair that Muslim tables get much better food than Chinese tables. My table was complaining throughout because our food really sucks. We kept asking the waiters/waitresses why we don’t have this and that, and all we’ve got was “Oh that’s for Muslim table, not for Chinese” -.-
And in the middle of the dinner, Danielle was saying we should have said that we’re vegetarian or something, then we’d have more varieties of food. And in 5 minutes after I “pretending” that I was vegetarian, the waitress showed up with this:

I mean broccoli is nice, but a whole plate of broccolis only?!?! (This costs like what, 2 bucks?!) WTF?! The Muslim tables had a plate of broccoli+other veges, a whole big place of super-nice-looking fried rice, and a plate of like chicken or something. And all we got was this!!! OMG

Clarinda and I met at 2.30pm at Woodlands to go my mum’s shop to do hair and makeup. It was raining so heavily, and I was rushing out of my house!! (I was watching Harper’s Island and I totally forgot the time! When I suddenly glanced at the clock, it was 2.15pm already!) I was like running around my house, looking for stuff cos I wasn’t even prepared to leave house yet! And after about 5 minutes, I left house. Then I walked super fast to the bus stop and took a bus to woodlands MRT station, only to find that Clarinda Poh was even later than me -.- She’s forever the last.

Anyway we were talking on the train and suddenly I just wanted to make sure that she brought her ticket so I asked her whether she did. AND WTF she told me she didn’t!!!!!! I totally didn’t believe her cos I reminded her how many times and it was on my MSN pm for how long?!?!?!! And by that time we were at Novena already. She wanted to go back and take, but there wasn’t time. So she started calling her mum/siblings, but nobody picked up!!! So pissifying right! Then we started sms-ing people and asking if we can go in without the tickets. AND LUCKILY, we could.

My mum helped Clarinda do her hair and makeup, and my mum’s friend helped me do mine. LOL. When they first did the hair, it looked super funny!

And by about 5pm we were done.

Afterwards at about 5.30pm, we took a taxi to Hilton Hotel. The taxi driver was a bit odd. He flagged “city” when he reached the taxi stand and obviously Hilton Hotel was in the city, so we just told him we’re going Hilton Hotel. Another guy who was behind us told him he’s going Shangri-La Hotel, but he didn’t even bother to answer him. I bet he saw us in this kinda dress and whatever, that’s why he decided to take us instead of him. So when we were on the taxi, we were quite scared. Haha. He didn’t actually do anything to us, but he definitely went the long way. Chinatown is so near Orchard, but we spent 14 bucks eh! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE LOR.

When we reached, it was super early. 6pm only. Though a lot of people have already reached! We didn’t want to see anybody first so we hurried to the escalator, but unfortunately Zhang Wei had extremely sharp eyes and she saw us and ran over! Haha. We said hi and then went up the escalator! We walked around but the shops were boring (all the expensive but ugly clothes). We kept seeing people we knew, so we were practically running around on the 2nd floor. Haha.

Anyway, at about 6.30pm, Jolyn reached! When I first looked at her, I almost couldn’t recognise her other than her dress!! Haha. Her makeup was quite thick and her hairstyle is quite nice.

We went up to the third floor and there were so many people there already!! All busy taking photos! We registered and we opened the doors to go in. BUT GUESS WHAT, we couldn’t go in yet! HAHA. This AVPA girl came to us and said we can’t go in! LOL super embarrassing right.

I think it was about 7pm before we finally went in! AND I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT WE WERE SUPER LAME. We thought that our table was number 10, since all our numbers (on the tickets) were all 105-108. We sat down and after a while, some people came over and asked “U’re table 10? We’re also table 10 leh!” AND WE ACTUALLY SAID YES WE’RE TABLE 10 and remained seated. Their friends went outside to check and found that we’re actually table 11!!! HAHA. Something was seriously wrong with us.

And by this time, Danielle just left her makeup place! The people couldn’t finish her makeup and hair in time!!! Haha she ran into Chern Hwee again. 很有缘 hor. (If you don’t know what I’m saying, Chern Hwee’s in SYFC also!) Anyway, Mrs Julie Hoo and Jessica had their speeches, and finally Danielle was here! (Actually she wasn’t the latest! Esther came even later lol)

She kept complaining about her makeup and hair but they’re not that bad right! haha. And her necklace is super nice!! :D Love the stone! (What is it called? Blue crystal? Sapphire?)

We had some performances. First was B-Boxing by 3 guys. It wasn’t very enjoyable obviously. I don’t really like it that much.

They danced and sang a little too… I think the guy in the middle is quite weird. Haha. He was trying doing popping and stuff!
The second one was by RJ Street Dance I think! They’re really not very good. And their dance is really easy. I think everyone can do it! :/ And I don’t know what was wrong with the lights. They kept changing colour and shining it everywhere. Super irritating.

After that, the pageant started! Look at Trisha!! (the one with a hat in her hair and a white furry thingy!) HAHA SHE WAS TOTALLY HILARIOUS. SHE danced and it was so funny luh! EVERYONE was laughing!! I was quite disappointed that she didn’t win! SHE SHOULD!

While the performances by the pageant nominees were going on, the food started coming up and they were so unbearable that after a while, almost everyone was gone from my table! Li Qing was the only one sitting down and eating the food! LOL.

After that I went Zhiqi’s house to stay over! My house is just too far away! On Friday I went Suntec for IT fair and I bought a camera! :) It’s Fujifilm Finepix J27. 10.2 Megapixels and 3x Optical Zoom. I think it looks quite nice and the quality is good. AND it’s only $219! :)

OMG it’s FAM today :) Finally can get to eat some expensive nice (i assume) food.

Okay, there are too many random stuff that I didn’t/forgot to post about.

1) The new bejeweled is totally crazy. Everyone gets damn high scores. And just a few minutes ago, I got 544650!!!!!!!! OMGOSH.

This was like 2 weeks ago or something! look at the top 5! ALL DAMN HIGH. For the previous version, if you can get >200000, that’s like damn pro already!

2) SS is so damn random. And a bit weird. Everyday when I look at my facebook hompage, I would see something -.-

I don’t get why she loves Physics so much. But since I already chose PCME, I should start trying to like it right! :/

3) Haha yesterday I was looking for stuff to watch, then I saw the new version of 倚天屠龙记. I don’t understand why 张纪中 wants to film all the 金庸武侠小说. He’s kinda weird. I think the nicest of all were 天龙八部 & 射雕英雄传. The others are not very nice… And this 倚天屠龙记 is really horrible. You can see that from the pictures.

Haha that day when I saw this comment, I was laughing like crazy. I think the China 网友 are really damn funny and sarcastic. (Okay, if you can’t see the words clearly, it says 这是什么冷兵器呀？铲铲？) LMAO.

And OMG you know the Creative Zen Stone Plus I won from Mocca.com? My mum sold it to her friend for 70 bucks. Which means I earned 70 bucks just for posting 2 pictures!!!! :D:D:D I think recently I’m really too lucky. I’m now waiting for our 500 bucks to come (the competition money!!)!!! :D

4) 16th Nov was a weird day. Clarinda, Danielle, Jolyn and I were all online!!! For the first time in 2 years!!!

Today we went back to school to get graduation booklet, testimonial, graduation cert and options stuff. The graduation booklet is quite nice. Ms Siow edited the testimonials. Somehow, it doesn’t sound as good as the previous one. And there’re a few grammatical errors. AND I think she and Ms Picca changed all the “student”s to “pupil”s!!!
For options, I got 3 for both Pharm Chem and Social Entrepreneurship, and 4 for filmmaking!!! :)

Afterwards we went to watch Amelia. It was quite a boring movie, though the filming was really good (the sceneries were really nice)! I would totally have fallen asleep, if not for the crazy Clarinda who was laughing at nothing.

After that, Jolyn went to try on lip gloss. Tried a few brands and in the end she bought a Bobbi Brown one. It’s 33 bucks!!!!! (I bought one for like $6.90 only).

Then we went home! Clarinda and I went Causeway Point to look for lip gloss. In the end she didn’t buy anything and I bought one. As I’ve said, it’s only $6.90. Then I went home. And you know what, I met my tenant and my mum when I exited the lift (in my flat) and they were going to Causeway Point to eat Sakae buffet. I ate Subway during the movies so I didn’t go… Such a waste right. But then heng I didn’t go luh. She’s been PMSing for a whole week already. And she’s seriously driving me crazy. I don’t even know why she’s so pissed.

Last day of school!

Today’s our last day of school for 2009! (I mean other than next Wed for getting testimonials!)

Yesterday we had some performances for Arts Fest. Umm truthfully, I think they were quite boring. And really not very good. RJC Jazz Club performed and umm Marcus (from Campus Superstar) is in it. My senior’s in there too. I have to say Marcus really improved a lot and he sings very well now. But their whole item doesn’t make sense. There was this skit going on (which I totally didn’t understand) and they showed some videos about jazz. I think jazz music is nice but the videos were damn boring.

Then from 11am-12pm, we started the busking items. Our class did House of Fear/Horror and it’s basically a haunted house. A few people painted their faces. Haha. Apparently it was a success and it was quite scary! :) Even the principal Mrs Hoo went in! We collected 83 bucks altogether and we’re the top earners!

Today the programs were more interesting, despite the crazy emcees. They were hosting the programs yesterday as well and they’re seriously lame!

They were trying to be warriors or something with the Star Wars swords (I think!)
And the lame conversation (I can't remember exactly but these are the main ideas):
Emcee 1: 20 Anderson Road Singapore 259978. We all know the school address but has anyone wondered what the principal’s address is?
Emcee 2: Oh yeah! (blablabla)
Emcee 1+2: Let’s welcome Mrs Julie Hoo to give her address!
Then everybody were errr-ing. LOL. And Mrs Hoo came up stage,

and said: That is lame! Very lame! Then she spoke for a while and invited up some dancers from Tengku Kursiah College.

Later, our school’s Malay dancers joined in. They looked quite retarded!

Afterwards, there was a Pascoe Vale item. The two guys played guitar and violin. They’re really pro! And the violin guy is quite humorous.

MEP people also performed. They sang a song. I don’t know the name!

We then had an alumnus performance. I think she’s called Rani Singer or something! She sang quite a few jazz songs with her friends playing drum, double bass and guitar!

The guys in the band are really good. They can play super well!

She is really really pro!!! She sings so well! And she can improvise the lyrics without even thinking! She enjoys the stage so much and I feel really happy for her! I think being able to do what you like is the best thing on Earth!
After that we had recess. Clarinda went to call her mum cos she was supposed to hand in excuse letter to Ms Siow and she only saw the sms this morning -.-

There was this collage in the foyer put together by an alumnus. I can’t remember her name though! She’s an artist or something!

After recess, we went back class. Ms Siow showed us our testimonials. They’re surprisingly quite good! I think mine sounds not bad and it’s really long!
We then helped to clean up the class and I found this really cool and small torchlight behind the whiteboard. I wanted it and I took it but Clarinda got really pissed cos she wanted it too! But I saw it first so obviously I should have it right. In the end I had to give it to her cos she was like -.-

We went to Far East for lunch. I think it’s one of our last times there! Danielle and Clarinda bought honeydew sago from SweetTalk and ate Wanton Mee at Graffiti Cafe. I didn’t eat anything cos afterwards I had to eat lunch with my tenant! We ate at Seoul Garden!! :)

Wow, I’m so glad that we graduated. From secondary school! But I’m really not looking forward to going JC. It’ll be so weird to suddenly go to classes with guys and I bet everyone will work so damn hard, while I’ll still slack around :(
And oh man. Yesterday I did matriculation and I chose PCME!!! I really don’t know what to choose!!! PHYSICS OR BIOLOGY?!!! What if I don’t understand the Physics stuff!!! Should I change it to BCME?! 2 more days to decide!

OMG today’s my lucky day. Luckiest in 2009.

Okay, let’s talk about my lucky encounters first.

1) Choir finally returned my 30 bucks (from last year concert)!!! And I bought ankle weights. I hope I can grow at least 1cm!!! (We went Singapore Youth Flying Club and we have to be at least 162.0cm to join!! I’m 161.1cm! Oh man! But the whole thing is super duper cool cos we can fly real planes!!!! :D I’ll definitely join if I grow taller! And hopefully I will! But I don’t think I’ll pass the interview or the medical checkup luh… They’re damn strict cos the programme is subsidised and the admission person told us that the whole programme costs $50000!!! That’s why! Oh yeah, the SYFC people are DAMN WEIRD AND FUNNY. Like extremely ah beng!)

2) Today we went lido for lunch. And just as we were about to leave and go home, a SAF (Singapore Armed Forces) guy approached us and asked “do you want to watch movie?” and held out 4 tickets. We thought they wanted to sell us the tickets at first. But we realised it’s free so we went!!!! As in it’s Jennifer’s Body (which I just watched on Sunday online) but still!!! FREE MOVIE!! AND there was FREE POPCORN AND DRINK!!! OMG!!!
So we went in to watch. And I think most people didn’t know we were inside cos we were the only girls there and the only people not from SAF! It was quite weird. Haha. And there this guy behind us who passes us nachos, but you know we just ate a whole big McDonald meal and were too full. So we asked Jolyn to pass it to the guy beside her but the guy rejected her eh! LOL. It was super funny. Maybe the guy thought that we bought the nachos or something.

3) Last time my RS group participated in this story writing competition, called Write Away, and we won 1st prize!!! 500 bucks!! :D As in share luh. But OMG!!!

I was watching Bones just now and this conversation is quite funny:

Angela: (pause and smiles) BFFs. Best friends forever.
LOL Bones is hilarious.

Oh. Forgot about my unlucky event. Yesterday we had O level Higher Chinese right, and my menses came in the morning on the MRT. SO I was like dying from cramps during it. I slept for 30 min for Paper 1 and 15 min for Paper 2. LOL. I hope I won’t die.

Aiyo tomorrow and Friday still have school. OMG Arts Fest. Extremely lame.

Long time no see

I haven’t read anyone’s blog for like a month or something and I haven’t blogged for almost 2 weeks. I think I’m super lazy. The only thing I do is to sit around and watch shows. Or sleep. Haizzzzz

Our options are finally over.

Pharmaceutical Chem

We did the 25 question quiz on the last lesson. Haha there wasn’t even any time limit. As in Dr Slatter said we could use about 40-50min, depending on whether we can finish it or not.
We purified Aspirin after the quiz. Cheryl Chan, Clarinda and I totally had no idea what was going on cos we missed 2 or 3 lessons. So we just anyhow did the thing. We didn’t even used distilled water when we were supposed to! (And the water we used wasn’t even tap water. It was from the melted ice cos we needed cold water. LOL) But in the end, we had super nice crystals and we tested our product, which was supposedly VERY pure. WOW
(We didn’t want to test it at all cos we kept all the apparatus already. And we said something like “Aiya, don’t want to take [the test tubes] already luh” and I bet Dr Slatter heard it. So he actually brought all the necessary stuff to us!!! OMG. He’s such a nice teacher.)

Social Entrepreneurship

It was totally a lame course, in my opinion. I don’t think I learnt anything and it costs 50 bucks.
We waited 2 1/2 hours to present our business plan, but in the end, they couldn’t finish the presentations on time and our whole group has options after that, so we have to arrange another day to present. How nice right.

Filmmaking

We filmed our short story on 23rd Nov. And we edited on the 27th. It’s actually better than I expected. As in our story is really lame but our filming is good.
Another GEP team had such a brilliant idea. Their video isn’t really that great, because of their lousy video cam and the way they did it. But their idea was REALLY good. It about a pair of specs which could “hear” people’s thoughts! SUPER good.
When we were editing in the comp lab, we were playing with the Mac photo booth. Haha the effects are quite interesting!
OMG I THINK THIS IS DAMN FUNNY. JOLYN LOOKS EXTREMELY RETARED. LIKE 芙蓉姐姐, if you know who I’m talking about. (You can check out her pics on Baidu)

This Clarinda ah, keeps blocking my face. No matter where she moves, she always blocks me completely. (Other than when she’s out of the whole picture. Haha)

On Sunday, I made a penguin and a heart for Cheryl Chan. She demanded for them. Sad me.
Anyway, I should really make these stuff and sell them. Definitely can earn money.

I think this heart shape is very nice! Nicer than the one on my bag! I wanted to keep it. Haha

You know for the past 3 weeks I have been thinking of applying for this Canada college. (I can graduate next year July and go uni in Sept!!!) And I found out so much about it, and was super excited about going to Canada. I was still wondering if I can get in (cos Mabel got in but you know last year her GPA was 3.72!). I just got the Conditional Letter of Acceptance. But now I’m not going anymore. -.- WTH is this right. Seriously.
Okay, the reasons for not going:
1) My mum doesn’t really have so much money. As in just for the college itself, she can pay. But not university, unless I get scholarship/financial assistance from an US uni. (Canada uni scholarships and financial assistance are for citizens/PR only. And we can only apply for PR when we get a job after graduating from uni)
2) It’s more secure to stay in Singapore, since I definitely can at least get into NUS.

I hate the fact that everything comes down to money. I bet if my family is rich, my mum would let me go. It’s not even fair how some families have so much money. It’s not like their parents are esp pro or clever or hardworking or wtv. They’re just lucky

We have 10 more days to go. Now I have nothing to look forward to other than going back China. And I hope my mum can get a new camera for me.

Yay 6 days left. I really can’t stand options.

Yesterday Clarinda, Danielle and I went shopping and in Paragon, they were selling Halloween stuff. Quite interesting! I really want to go for the night safari thing (but it’s too ex :/).

I finally finished making my clutch for FAM. And bought the shoes. So I officially finished preparing for FAM :D

The heels are super high. Like 10cm or something! But the shoes are comfortable!

It’s not exactly very nice. I wanted to take out the bottom part and re-make it. But it’s too troublesome so I just decided to finish it up.

Tomorrow we’re going to make our film! I think our story is quite lame but there really isn’t much you can do when forced to film the whole thing in school. I just hope we can finish it tomorrow so that we don’t have to spend anymore time on it!

Either something’s wrong with my calculator, or me.

Yesterday got back Math and Chem. I was seriously quite pissed cos I got quite low for everything. Other than Chem SPA which was 16/20… -.-

So now my results are:

OMG I can’t believe I calculated wrongly. For a lot of subjects. Now I don’t think any moderation would work for me, but I’m super happy that my Bio is 3.6!!!!!! (If you want to calculate, the percentage for the Bio tests were PPA1 15%, MYA 30%, SPA 20%, EYA 35%. They changed the percentage! I wrote it down on my book so can’t be wrong :D) I hope I didn’t get it wrong this time!!! 3.48 is like the highest I’ve gotten in 4 years. Such a failure right. I really should start working hard next year. I need to get >3.6!!

Yesterday we found out that Mable Low is going Canada to study next year!!!! Super cool right! I really want to go too! We only need to attend a uni prep class for a year, then we can apply for universities already!!! I want to go too…

I need to go now… Clarinda and I are going out to buy shoes for FAM!!! BYEEEEEEEE

I can’t believe I’m counting down to the end of options. It’s supposed to be nicer than having exams right. But it isn’t.

Last week was a boring week as usual. We kept going out or going shopping. Super lame. Nothing to do at all.

I think people are very weird. When we were supposed to be studying before EYAs, everyone keeps playing games (like Bejeweled) and watching shows, etc. But now after the EYAs, we do that less than before. OK at least for me, I HAD TO play Bejeweled everyday before the EYAs. If I didn’t, I would feel like I’m missing something. But these 2 weeks, I almost forgot about it. I just started playing it like 3 days ago. Super weird. And I watch shows super slowly now, since I feel that we have too much time for that and it becomes boring when the only thing I can do at home is to watch shows. Oh yes I haven’t watched 康熙来了 for like 3 weeks or something (when I watched 1 episode everyday in the past). Sometimes in the afternoon, I don’t do a single thing. I don’t even know how time passed so fast.

Last Friday we went to ACS(I) for their open house. We heard from other people (before we went) that all those from RI and RGS who applied through DSA got in immediately. They don’t even look at our results or anything. And no interviews. We were super pissed cos DSA cost only 20 bucks but the admission test is 300 bucks. Crazy right. Anyway, we had filmmaking on Friday, so by the time we reached, everything was over. We didn’t really get much info luh. And we’re not applying -.- I think the school really isn’t very reliable since they don’t even go through the selection process (though our school is good, but not everyone is right! If they just accept anyone, then it means every single student in RGS and RI are better than their students?! That’s super lousy. And I don’t like their system). The only good thing about that school is that the students really can speak VERY well. If I’m half as good a speaker as them, I’m super satisfied already.

Haha I took an ACS(I) bottle! I think ours is much nicer!

Oh yeah I totally forgot about the Net Carn. It rained. But we completed the whole thing. We won all the 14 games (obviously) and cheering. We got third for banner also. So it’s like… I didn’t even play cos I had a blister on my foot. Damn lame right. WTV.

I took this during Pharm Chem on Monday. Haha. I think Dr Slatter saw but he didn’t say anything.

Haha I cooked 蛋包饭 for my mum. It’s not very successful but nevermind. It’s my first time. And I did it my way. I don’t know how it’s supposed to be made.

On Wednesday, we went to Ion after check Bio paper and we saw this:

We also watched 500 Days of Summer on Wednesday and I thought it was okay. Not that nice though. I don’t really like this kinda films. I really want to watch 意外 eh. It looks damn interesting!

Okay, paper checking was damn lame. And I did quite badly.
English: 2.8 (about 62.4%)
Math (getting back tomorrow!)
HCL: 3.6
SS: 3.2 (about 67.35%) (I am extremely pissed because if I got 1 more mark for the EYA and the PT, then I’d get 3.6 -.-)
Hist: 2.0 (as expected. It’s 53% I think. I failed SBQ. The person gave me L3/13 at first, but she changed it to L2/8!!! How can anyone deduct 5 marks just like that!)
Bio: 3.2 (I am very pissed with this also. I only need 2 more marks for EYA to get 3.6. It’s about 68.6%)
Chem: (getting back tomorrow. Hopefully it’s okay…)
Phys: 4.0 (84.3%) (can’t believe Phys is my only 4.0 now. SUCKS.)

Now my GPA is like in between 3.42 and 3.6 (without moderation) and it all depends on Math and Chem. I REALLY hope my Math won’t be too screwed up. I really need to get 80% for Math 1 and 60-65% for Math 2 (I’m referring to EYA). For Chem, I need to get 80% for SPA and EYA!!! Otherwise I’m dead.

OMG OPTIONS SUCK!!!!!

We had the first social entrepreneurship class on Tuesday and it totally sucks okay. SO DAMN BORING. I was really falling asleep. It’s like worse than film making. And next Tues we’re going to some nursing home at Changi -.- I don’t know what that has got to do with entrepreneurship. The external vendors think that we’re P1 or something. Keep asking us lame stuff and they seem to think that we don’t know anything. I can’t stand the person cos she has a fake Am. accent and she’s super bimb. Seriously. She’s totally like the bimbs in American shows.

Wed was one of the lamest day ever. I only had 2 Chinese lessons and we planned to watch movie at first, so I practically went to school to watch movie and take batch photo. In the end we didn’t even get to watch movie during Chinese and you know what, the China scholars want to watch 非诚勿扰… I don’t like that movie at all -.- When the teacher went for photo-taking, I was taking random pics of the class…

After lessons, we went recording studio to record songs. We were supposed to meet outside the studio right after Chinese, but that Cheryl Chan 竟然 went to the canteen to eat okay. Made me wait for SOOOOOOOOO long. Doesn’t she know that I HATE waiting. Anyway, I was so bored, so I took some pictures again. (The pictures are super bluish cos I pressed a button wrongly. Haha. I don’t really know how to use it.)

I recorded 傻孩子… recorded for damn long cos couldn’t 开嗓 eh. I think talking is the best way to 开嗓. The best period for singing is about 8pm, for me luh.
(Yes, I was bored. I even took pictures of the recording studio and the lights in it!)

Anyway after that Cheryl went to sign up for WEP. She signed up for 4 jobs eh. All medicine/dentistry. She really wants to learn them in uni I think. LOL. Super enthu eh. Later, Clarinda and I went Bugis to shop. We want to buy a jacket/cardigan or something to wear outside our dress for FAM. Just the Bugis village alone took us 2 hours to finish. (The prices of things there are so damn high luh. We saw the exact same dress we bought for $20, and it was sold at $60 -.-) And I was dead tired after that. I reached home at abt 5+ and slept from then till 11.40pm. Then, I woke up and bathed and continued sleeping until Thurs 9am! That’s about 15 hours!!!

Yesterday was a lame Children’s Day. I went to my mum’s shop to help her arrange her stuff. And I went home at like 6+.

I was looking at one of the Lee Min Ho Facebook pages and I found a lot of interesting photos eh!

First week of options is finally over

I think options suck eh. I thought it’d be better than normal school days but obviously it’s not -.- We go home so much later than during normal school day luh.

On Thursday we had Pharm Chem. We got Dr Slatter. He looks super serious and fierce but he’s super nice eh. Cheryl Chan, Clarinda and I went for photo taking so we went up late. And cos it was in the lab, we decided to to sit at the back so that we could sit together. Then later he came over to ask us if we wanted to sit in front a bit, and we just shook our heads. And guess what he said? He said “OK, whatever that makes you happy” or sth like that! Super cool right. I think Western teachers are all like that lor OMG so nice! We did this worksheet, then inside there was a question which asked which of the 4 choices was anti-virus. And 1 of them was paracetamol. Wah I see this word like how many times already. I’ll remember this word and ibuprofen my whole life luh. (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, read my previous post :D I don’t know which one though!)

During CLE on Fri, we had principal’s address and after that we went to the hall toilet. When we came out I saw RGS mineral water so I took one! I always wanted it but didn’t know where to get one. Keep seeing it in other classrooms.

On Friday, we had film making again. Haizzzzz I don’t think we shouldn’t have chosen that one cos it’s really like computer studies in Sec 2 and I don’ think it’s very interesting or useful.

We did this photo thing. We were supposed to take 4 photos to express some stuff. Cheryl Chan and Danielle didn’t want to be captured in the photos so Clarinda and I had to do it -.- (Cos um they said they answered questions already so we should do it!)
1) 2 friends just met each other.

2) They became good friends.

3) They quarrelled.

4) They forgave each other.

On Saturday we went back school to practise netball for Net Carn this Saturday. Clarinda was so lucky lor - she had tuition so she didn’t have to go. Anyway, we played for quite a long time eh. Like a total of 1 hour or something. I was sweating like crazy after that. I was like GD and I was defending Deanna. How lame is that right. LOL. How can I defend her lor please. I bet we won’t get to play after all cos our class will definitely lose if we do. My reaction is soooooo slow. But I’m still glad I’m not in cheering since I’ve cheered for 3 years -.-

I jogged on Fri and Sat nights. Now I jog 5 rounds and walk 2-4 rounds. That takes about 25-35 minutes. (I jog super slowly so that I get to exercise for 30 minutes.) Then my tenant and I would go stretch our legs for like 5-10 minutes. Then we do the twisting thing, you know the one you stand on and twist your upper body without moving your lower body so that you can exercise your waist area? Haha. I do that thing for about 5-10 minutes. Then there’s this thing that works like a swing, but it’s like you stand on that thing, then you swing your legs left and right? Haizzz I don’t know how to describe! But yeah, I exercise for about an hour a day (adding up everything…) Yesterday I had muscle ache eh, for some reason, but today I don’t. So I’m jogging again today! This will be my 6th time! :D

I seriously think that post-EYA schedule sucks. We had 2 Math lessons in a row today. OMG super unbearable eh. And I was super hungry cos I only ate half a cup of yoghurt in the morning :( After that we went Isetan and Lido again. Haha. By the end of these 6 weeks of options, I can’t imagine how sick we’ll get of Lido/Isetan/Tangs (and Tangs Market)/Takashimaya/Ion/etc.

We went back to school for our second Pharm Chem lesson. Today we just revised a little about primary/secondary/tertiary alcohols and how they oxidise/reduce to become other stuff. And then we did stuff like challenges we face in 21st century, definition of drugs, how drugs work, etc. I don’t think they’re very relevant or interesting, but never mind. At least it’s only 2 hours and the teacher is nice and it’s definitely better than the other options with the other teachers.

Tomorrow will be a super horrible day. Philo COI + Math (AGAIN.) + Social entrepreneurship (1st lesson) + filmmaking. I hope I’ll say more than 0 sentence during COI tomorrow. LOL.

YES I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO CHILDREN’S DAY HOLIDAY ON THURS! (Anyway, why are we having children’s day holiday? We have both youth day and children’s day holiday this year!!!)

We might be going to watch 意外 (古天乐, 任贤齐 & 叶璇) on Friday :D The trailer looked damn nice :D And I like all 3 actors! 古天乐 is damn shuai luh.

Life is soooooo boring man

Finally, we finished EYAs (other than Philo COI, Math SA4 and HCL O level).
Anyway, the tests were all not too difficult (at least much better than what I imagined) but I still don’t think I will do very well.
For Bio, it was really quite easy because very little details were tested. They focussed mainly on main concepts and stuff. I believe most people will get at least 3.6. However, I don’t think I will get 3.6 because I did a bit too slowly and the last part was super long. The last page was like 19 out of 50 marks -.- I think my Mendelien genetics questions were correct, but I have no idea whether they’ll deduct marks for presentation errors.
For Physics, I thought it was okay. Not as hard as expected, though some of the MCQs were very hard. I think I should be able to get 3.6 cos other than some questions that I didn’t know how to do, the others were quite okay for me. And data analysis was SO DAMN easy OMG. But the paper was very long also and I was rushing the last few questions. I don’t think my answers were complete… :(
History was a total failure. I wrote 1 1/2 pages for the SBQ question and 2 pages for the SEQ question only. I didn’t even understand the sources for SBQ luh. And because I read too much about the causes and consequences of WWII the previous day, I couldn’t remember a single thing -.- I’ll definitely fail History.
Math was super hard luh. As in the questions were okay, but how do they expect us to finish all the question in 2 hours?! My Math is dead. Now I have to depend on all my 3 sciences. Hopefully all can get 3.6…
On Thursday, we had our last paper, which was Chem. I was quite worried about it cos Chem papers are ALWAYS super hard. They love testing us on things that we haven’t done/seen before. But surprisingly this test was SUPER easy. Seriously. I was SHOCKED. Though I don’t think I’ll will do too well, but I think it should be quite good… (At least it should be extremely good compared to the previous tests.)
Now I just hope that was Chem and Phys SPAs were good. And I won’t fail English. And I’ll get 3.6 for HCL. I totally give up on SS and Hist, but since we have to count one of them, I just hope that my SS PT won’t be too bad.
After Chem on Thursday, we couldn’t eat at Seoul Garden as planned, cos that extremely troublesome Cheryl Chan didn’t come on Monday for Bio (because she had gastric/indigestion -.-) and she had deferred assessment on Fri. WTH right. So the four of us went to watch movie, The Proposal, at lido, as usual. We bought this HUMONGOUS box of popcorn (it was only $6.20). It was really huge! I should have taken a photo of it. But anyway, it lasted us for like 3 or 4 hours. Haha. The Proposal was super nice and funny eh! I didn’t want to watch that cos I thought it would be some lame romance movie but it turned out to be super funny and I really turned mad or something.
Afterwards, we just stood at the bus-stop opposite Far East, trying to decide what to do next -.- We went to this CD shop beside the Adidas (was it Adidas? I think so luh…). It’s called That CD Shop or something! Super weird eh. I have never been aware of its existence. But that shop is quite cool (it has 2 storeys) and it really has a looooot of CDs, even the older ones.
We went into this scary shopping centre right beside the bus-stop. It has a lot of branded stuff… It’s quite scary and boring luh. But we had nothing else to do and we really talked for one hour, at the bus-stop. How is that even possible lor OMG. In the end, Jolyn went home and Clarinda and Danielle came my house (yes, again). Haha. We wanted to play basketball but we just ended up watching Ice Age 3 because I couldn’t find the ball in my super-messy store room.
On Fri, our class had to go back school to do some stupid NE Quiz, which we had to pass in order to go JC. How lame is that right. Later, we went to eat buffet at Seoul Garden (Marina Square). We ate super a lot! Quite scary.

I left at 2pm for KBOX with Zhiqi, Kexin and Qianru. (It was the first time that my voice didn’t die after singing for 5 hours!) Qianru was super funny luh OMG. She didn’t know how to sing most of the songs the 3 of us chose, so we chose some old songs for her, like 青藏高原 and 朋友. Haha. Her voice is so high! She can reach the highest note in 青藏高原 eh!
On Saturday and Sunday and Monday I just stayed home and wasted my time on watching shows/movies/TV, downloading games into my phone, doing cross stitch, playing Bejeweled on Facebook, etc. It was really boring. Oh and I went to NTUC twice, when my mum still complained and got pissed at me for not going there to buy stuff for her to cook -.- Yesterday she was PSM-ing like crazy and she’s still angry this morning. LIKE WTH. That is not my job okay. And it’s not like I didn’t go NTUC to buy stuff on Saturday. And she was saying I spend too much money and whatever. Hey, I went to eat buffet and sing KBOX and watch movie. Obviously right. And this is the first and only time I’m going KBOX this year eh. Please lor. And I don’t need to spend money on ezlink card and shopping at NTUC meh?! And I still have to eat stuff in school right.
Today was sooooooo unbearable luh. We went to school just for a HCL lesson and a Philo lesson?! OMG. During HCL, they just talked about the EYA paper for 1 whole hour. I wonder how they even did that. Philo was boring as usual.
After that cos we don’t have Enriched options modules this week, we went out. We went Tangs Market to buy sushi first, then went Isetan food fair, where Cheryl Chan bought a LOT of stuff again. She is crazy. After that we went to Artbox in Ion, where she and Jolyn spent a total of 50 bucks. (Cheryl Chan wanted to get the membership…) Jolyn bought this notebook for $18.90. That’s super crazy right. If I ever buy that, my mu will nag at me for like 5 years or something. But that notebook is really interesting and it’s bound like a book. It would be really cool if you use it as a diary and write your very exciting life experiences in it.
At 1pm, we went back to school for options. Cheryl, Clarinda, Danielle and I had narrative filmmaking while Jolyn had something else. I think a Geog module! (Don’t ask me why she has a Geog module when she takes History!) The filmmaking thing was 3 hours long and I was really falling asleep. They showed us a lot of short films, but most of them didn’t really have a plot and were black-and-white. Super boring. I don’t get them.
When Clarinda and I went home, she was super crazy. We were talking about How I Met Your Mother S5 Ep1 (which premièred yesterday and I haven’t downloaded yet!). Then Clarinda said: Barney is siao. Siao is Barney. LMAO!!!

I really shouldn’t be blogging at this point of time but wtv.

On Thurs I woke up at 8am and on Fri I woke up at 6.47am. I know. I’m crazy. But I was very worried (for the first time in so many years) about all the stuff. But I still wasted most of the time watching shows.

Supernatural Season 5 started on Thursday and I watched it (on Friday)! I seriously can’t stand waiting for all those episodes to be shown! How I met you mother and Merlin are starting soon too!!! :))))))))

On Friday night I actually went jogging with my 2 tenants (oh yes I have a new tenant again). Guess what, my new tenant RUNS/SPRINTS like 10 rounds -.- I was totally horrified. She’s 34 and she runs faster than me. Much faster…

I really don’t know why I’m always super lucky. My menses came yesterday and I was dying from cramps. I didn’t do a single thing.

Today I woke up at 8am, wanting to do my History. But I ate painkillers so I felt extremely drowsy and went back to sleep, until about 12+pm. Then I started with History. I really don’t know what we’re supposed to know and how can I possibly remember all those stuff in less than 2 days, when I still have to study for Bio and Phys?!

I can’t remember ANYTHING for Bio. I’m so so so dead. Seriously. I bet I’ll fail very badly. ARG.

I must not be a slacker next year.

I’m so damn excited about post-EYA. On Thursday we’re going to eat buffet (probably Seoul Garden) and on Friday Zhiqi, Kexin, Qianru and I are going KBOX!!! And my mum bought the phone I wanted for me so I can start using it on Thursday!

OK I should stop dreaming and study Bio for another 2 hours before sleeping…

I’m in a surprisingly good mood these 2 days or something. I’m like cooking dinner, for myself and my tenants. I haven’t cooked a proper meal in ages… Now I’m sweating like crazy.

I finished Phys yesterday morning. Finally. And I started on Chem. Now I’ve done QA, electrochem and energetics. I need to finish Chem tomorrow!! How is that possible. Seriously. I know nothing about Organic Chem.

Today my mum’s going back China. Should be on the plane already. She’s going back for a week to buy products and stuff. Yay maybe my dad’s buying a phone for me. Hehe. But depends on whether the quality is good! I think the phone looks super pretty!

Today I made 抄手 for dinner. I don’t know what it is called in English eh :/ it’s sort of like 云吞.

They’re not exactly very professional looking, but they’re still very nice :)

I am weird

1. My ears are at different levels. Right side is like 0.5cm higher than the left or something! Everytime I wear my specs, I feel very weird and uncomfortable

2. My knees are at different levels too. This time, right side is lower than my left, by about 0.5cm-1cm.

3. From 2, you can “infer” that my thighs and shins are of different lengths.

4. My left leg is much straighter than my right.

5. My right leg was originally a bit 内八字. (That was why I learnt gym for a while. Now although it’s not anymore, it’s still a bit weird.)

6. When people tiptoe, their muscles stay where they’re supposed to be but mine doesn’t. (Haha I know this sounds weird. I don’t know how to explain luh!)

OK that’s all for now, but enough to prove that I am very weird right. Hai… I should start on Physics revision now! But I keep watching stuff and playing Bejeweled! :(

This was such a long, boring, tiring and lame week, as expected.

Last weekend I finally finished Supernatural! I was so reluctant to finish it cos after that I won’t have anything else to watch! (As in there’re loads of stuff waiting for me to watch but.. you know!) But I found out that the next season premieres on 10th Sept! So I decided to just finish it. It’s super nice. OMG I can’t wait for the next season + Merlin + how I met your mother!

On Monday we celebrated Teachers’ Day. The celebration wasn’t really very nice, compared to the previous year’s. There were 2 “games” involving some teachers and students. One was a combined thing - don’t forget the lyrics + RGS’ next top model… Yeah I know, this sounds very lame. The other one was are you smarter than an RGS girl? After these, there were some performances, but the performers were so un-enthu so it was really really boring… And the performers looked like they didn’t know what they were doing. They couldn’t even remember their dance steps.

So Tuesday was holiday and I just did a bit of Philo and English.

On Wednesday, it was English Paper 1 and Philo. English questions were okay… Not too hard and not too easy. I did the one on women and the demands of family on them. Though it wasn’t that good, but at least it’s my normal standard. Bet I’ll get 18/30 again. I don’t understand how some people can get 27 and I get only 18.

On Thursday it was English paper 2 and Social Studies. And I think both were screwed. The English comprehension was sooooo hard. I don’t think I’ll pass. :( The vocabularies were so difficult luh omg. I bet I’ll get 0/5 for vocab. As for Social Studies, I will seriously jump up or something if I pass. And that is never going to happen. I totally didn’t get the question so I just started crapping. And only when I wrote the resolution did I realise that none of my points were answering the question. Not a single word was relevant. I’m so dead. I wanted to count SS as one of the seven subjects, but now I have to study Hist. Sucks.

Today we had Higher Chinese. 4 hours of it. Wrote a 公函, a 报章读后感 and paper 2. I think the first 2 were okay. I had so much time left. But Paper 2 选词填空 was seriously the hardest I have ever done. If I can pass, I’ll be happy enough. Luckily the comprehensions were not that difficult. I wrote at least 4 lines for almost all the questions. Some questions had so many marks, but there wasn’t really any points to write eh! So I just added in some random stuff. But generally it was okay.

After exams, we went to watch Time Traveller's Wife, for which we started planning a few days ago. haha. It was an interesting movie. I wonder how authors can think of such stories, and like Harry Potter! So imaginative!

So we’re going to have 9 whole days to revise. I REALLY hope I won’t waste the whole week watching shows. I need to finish Physics by this Sunday, so that I have enough time for Chem and Bio. And Math. And if I have extra time, I’ll study Hist…

Didn’t go to school today. And I don’t think I’m going tomorrow.

The weather is super nice today. It has been raining since 11 am. Such a great time for sleeping but I’ll try not to since yesterday I wasted the whole afternoon sleeping, from 3.15 pm to 7.45 pm.

I’ve been sitting in front of my laptop for the whole morning and I really don’t know where to start revision. I just drew out a table for my study plan (right above my laptop). I’ll try my best to follow but you know, this kinda plans NEVER work for me. Following 1/4 of it would be good enough. I really don’t want to screw up EYAs. It’s our last year!!!

Look at my pathetic plan. I don’t even know what to write in it. I guess I’ll just plan the next 3 days first and slowly fill in the rest of the boxes. I shall start with SS and Philo.

Actually there is a lot of time for revision. Thank god for all those nice holidays.

OMG today's my "luckiest" day EVER

Okay today is generally agreed to be my unluckiest day ever. Other than one good thing which is I got 81/100 for Philo Argument Map! Omg I seriously can't believe it. How can it be so high?! The others got about 60+ or 70+ and there're even failures. OMG. So, maybe in exchange for this, I had to go through a series of unfortunate events today.

Firstly, I lost my jacket I think. The SPCA one. The one which I spent 22.90 bucks buying like 3 months ago -.- SUCKS. Last week they asked us to clear our stuff in the class for Future Problem Solving and I forgot about my poor jacket?! OMG. That's the 3rd jacket I lost in school already. How nice. One in Sec 1 disappeared, my choir pullover got cleared out in Sec 2 cos I didn't have the hands to bring it home (I was carrying a whole box of files and books from my table and locker) and now this. GREAT.

First thing in the morning. We were having morning assembly and as usual everyone's talking. And very luckily, Ms Picca came all the way come the back of the row to the front to tell us to shut up -.- Please the teachers are FOREVER picking on us. Why out of so many people she only sees us talking?

Second thing was during Math. Nothing went wrong with Math or Math teacher, but during the block, the PE relieve teacher came looking for me. Yes the fierce one. She said I had to do PFT again because they don't have my scores. And not the retest, the full one. Can you even believe it. I did the full test and I still went for the retest in Aug and now they tell me they don't have my scores?! Somemore last Thursday we already went to look for Mrs J. (After school I went to look for her and she said I don't have to retake but still!!!)

Third, during Chem, Ms Jazilah was observed by Dr Slatter. So we did group work and presentation today. During the block, she picked on me twice okay. Because I was talking. Somemore just me, not even like Clarinda or anyone else. How nice. Like I was talking to myself or something. And can't she see that other people were talking too? When others talk, she just shushes them, and when it's me, she just has to ask me what I was talking about.

So. 4 unlucky things in a row. How nice. During English later, I just kept quiet for the whole lesson. I bet Ms Picca was damn amazed. Please, she stares at our group like 70% of the time -.- Obviously she only sees us talking and don't see the others right. People were talking sooo damn obviously and she just shushes them (like Ms Jazilah) and she doesn't even stare/ask them to keep quiet, so why every single time she has to give me that look as if I'm some talking machine? I don't talk throughout the lesson okay. I don't have so much saliva. And I listen super attentively during her lessons (compared to others).

So conclusion is that the teachers just like picking on us for every single thing. How is this fair to us. Please, the whole PE thing was also damn unfair. How many people don't even go down for PE and why don't they talk to them? When have we skipped PE? Not even once. -.-

ARG I'm very pissed. Okay. I shall not crap anymore. I should complete my Eng essay and Phys WS NOWWWW. *roll eyes*

OMG I'm so excited! only less than 4 weeks of torture left for us! (OK not including HCL O levels and IB problems..)

You know there was Chem and Phys SPA on Thursday, so on Wednesday I went home to study -.- And i slept at 12+am okay. I spent about 1 hour going through the Phys thermal worksheets and practicals and I realised there really isn't anything we have to know, other than Q=mc△t and Q=ml. Afterwards at about 9pm, I started Chem. Since we could bring a piece of paper with notes in, obviously people like me would squeeze everything in no matter what. You can't imagine how small my handwriting was (though compared to some other people, it wasn't that small...). In the end I had quite some space left and I didn't know what to write in! I'll post a picture of my paper when I get it back (why did the teachers want to collect it anyway?).

Okay so on Thursday, I was kinda worried about the practicals, even though they are supposed to be easy and the teachers actually said that they're easy. So, when I saw the question, I have to agree that they are not exactly too difficult. But you know, in our school, you'd rather get a harder question than an easy question. Easy questions are always full of traps. And you probably would make a lot of careless mistakes and stuff. So yeah, the questions for both Phys and Chem weren't that hard (in fact I didn't even use the piece of paper for Chem), but I think most people made some mistakes here and there. So moral of the story is, teachers are never so kind to give you marks just like that.

After the practical tests, we went to eat ramen, yes, again. Haha. We've being eating that since idk last term or start of this term. Like more than 10 times or something. LOL. It's cheap and nice :) Later I went home to sleep. I slept from 3-10pm, woke up and watched TV with my mum and tenant for a while, and then slept from about 11.30pm-5.40am the next day. That's 13 hours!!! I don't even know how I could sleep so much! (But ever since Keane's concert a week ago, I slept after 12am everyday D:) Usually I can't. And what's even better was that on Fri (which was yesterday) Jolyn told me that she slept for 14 hours! HAHA.

Oh yes, yesterday we got back Eng oral marks. I got 19/30 -.- And that is actually the highest I have ever gotten. I think I got 18/30 for all the past 3 years! That's crazy right. My Eng really sucks :( I really want to get 3.2 for English but why is it so hard! getting 35 for compre is almost impossible! considering the number of people who actually get that. Maybe 10? 20? out of 450 people. OMG.

IB stuff are so frustrating! The admission tests cost 300 bucks, for god's sake. I really don't know whether I should go!!! What if I get in and I choose not to go? Or worse, what if I don't even get in? 300 bucks down the drain. That sucks. OMG. And if I go I'll have to pay school fees (which are like 400 bucks a month) because we don't take O levels and we can't get any form of scholarship! OMG this is super unfair! HOW!

We have only 1 more week of lessons. This year really passed by too quickly. I don't even think I've learnt much :(

Oh yeah next Saturday my Pri 6 form teacher is inviting us to her house or something for a reunion. I think we should go cos she specially made time for us and we've been planning for this kinda gathering for like 4 years, ever since we graduated. But it's next Saturday! Tests are starting right after that! :( And my mum would just get super pissed off if I go for it.... How? If we don't go, isn't it very bad? :(

I finally have the time to post after handing in the super lame and stupid SS PT today!!! But OMG there's Chem and Phys SPA on Thurs!

Anyway, I saw this on the internet: the longest record time for a single person to have hiccups was 68 years. Charles Osborne had hiccups from 28-96 years old! (estimated at about 430 million times!!) Totally crazy. How can anyone hiccup for such a long time?! How did he even sleep?!

Anyway, last Thurs (13th Aug), Danielle and I went for Keane's concert. We reached there at 6pm, and there wasn't anyone there. -.- But luckily we got the first row. The concert was great, cos Keane is really pro! Even though I don't really know them and their songs! But we stood from 6pm to 11.30pm. OMG. My legs totally died... There were 2 opening performances, both rock. I hate rock. The first one was by this Singapore band called The Fire Fight (they repeated their band name like 5 times or something) and they sang 5 songs. I really couldn't hear the lead singer's voice and the lyrics so I was practically listening to stupid drum beats. The second one was by a French band (and I have no idea that their band is called). They sang another 5 songs. LOL. Danielle and I were really wondering whether we went for the wrong concert! The French band was not bad, so much better than the Singapore one (though the band was okay... but you know, when you compare to the better ones, it just seems too lousy). When Keane started singing, you can really hear the difference! They were super good!

I seemed a bit weird there cos everyone was singing their songs and I was just fanning (it was soooo hot) and staring at them. LOL. After about 5 songs, Tom Chaplin's shirt was totally drenched. During one of the last songs, he totally lied on the floor and sang for like 20s. Haha.

The concert ended at about 11.30 and by the time I reached home, it was about 12.50pm. I think. My mum got super pissed cos she had to stay up and wait for me :(

On Saturday, my menses came. How stupid right. It ALWAYS come at inappropriate times, either during exams or when I'm busy. Almost everytime I had History tests (in both Sec 3 and 4), I had menses. First day. How cool right. So on Saturday I almost died from cramps and I just watched Supernatural for the whole day (OMG I watched Season 4 Ep 6 Yellow Fever and it's the funniest episode ever!!!! You REALLY HAVE TO WATCH IT!! And there's this special part for Dean at the end of the episode :D It's hilarious!! I was really laughing like a mad woman in my room when I was watching it). Anyway, I still went to eat steamboat at night when my cramps weren't so bad. I ate super a lot. You can't imagine how much I ate. Seriously. And I was so shocked that my mum's friend, who is super super thin (I think she's about my height and I'm guessing that she's 40kg when she is a mother of 2 children already), ate more than me. Much more. She ate like at least 3 full plate of meats okay. Plus a LOT of other stuff. Siao. I think that place is quite good! The food is cheap and nice. 15 bucks per person :)

So after slacking on Saturday, I had to rush my SS PT on Sunday. In the morning, as usual, I slacked. And I started at 4pm. Finished at 11.30pm. And finished printing at 12am. (I don't understand why I can spend such a long time printing that.) I'm super happy that I finished it and now I have to mug for Chem and Phys SPA, which I totally haven't started yet.

Today I was watching 康熙来了, and there was this Taiwan actor, called 罗北安. OMG I just realised that he was the one who acted as 乌陆陆 in 命中注定我爱你!!! Anyway, I wanted to say that he looks like the Toa Payoh pervert that I meet on the MRT sometimes. That pervert is super gross luh. My mission is to take a photo of him and go to the police station after EYAs to make a report. His face and actions are seriously unbearable..

I'm really not made for a mugger. I can't even if I try.

Anyway yesterday we went to watch Up eventually! It was 3D!! I have to say that 3D effects were really really cool, but it was soooo uncomfortable! 2 reasons: 1. the goggles (do you call them goggles?) were too huge so I had to hold it throughout the whole movie; 2. it make your eyes pop out or something - your eyes will probably feel extremely painful and tired. I don't think I'll watch anymore 3D movies until the technology improves.....

Today was such a lame day. And I didn't even go for recess because there was Math GA after recess and none of us knew about it, so everyone wanted to stay in class to revise -.- Pity me. So I starved for the whole morning until Clarinda and I went to Bukit Panjang Plaza to eat KFC.

Jolyn hasn't come to school for 2 days already. I have no idea what happened to her and why doesn't she ever inform any of us when she can't come school?! Hai..

I'm in a very 哑口无言的 state.

1. 蔡艾珈 (who got 2nd in Campus Superstar) went to Taiwan to PK 超级星光大道 contestants. She first sang 张韶涵-不痛 and got 22/25 (FYI, that is DAMN HIGH). Then the 2nd PK she sang 戴爱玲-我该得到 and got FULL MARKS. Yes I admit that she sings really well, but seriously, how can she get so damn high?!

Yesterday Danielle, Clarinda and I went to see doctor. We all got a 3-day MC. Danielle and Clarinda only paid 6 plus while I had to pay 20 bucks. How unfair is that. The government just wants to force the foreigners to become Singapore citizens!

Anyway, after I ate medicine, I was so drowsy and I slept for 13 hours -.-

OK so now I have 5 days to do SS PT. But obviously it's impossible for me to spend all the time on it. I think I'll just die for EYAs. I seriously have no idea what's going on for all the subjects, other than Chinese, English (duh) and Math. The sciences are completely.... Hai.... Physics is so hard luh. And she didn't really explain the concepts. I don't even know what are induced EMF, current and magnetic field. Okay now I think Chem is okay, but when I tried doing the practise questions, I can't do most of them :/

Last Fri Cheryl was sick and she went home early. After she saw the doctor, she was given a 1-week MC and its 90% H1N1. OMG. I was super scared cos Jolyn and Clarinda were sick last week! :/ Ms Picca was confirmed with H1N1 too!! Today 6 people were absent and 3 others went home after a while. Danielle got a bit of fever yesterday. Jolyn is quite sick. And Clarinda and I started having runny nose in the morning. OMG I"M SUPER WORRIED! Now my nose is like half blocked. O.M.G

Today I went for PFT retest. OMG super slack.If you fail any of the 5 items, you can just go home!! So after we all did sit-ups together, Zhiqi and I went to do inclined pull up. Haha we just anyhow did! I did like 1 and I was the best among the first few people! LOL. The others couldn't do at all!

Afterwards, we went Ion. We discovered this super super super nice shop that sells super super super nice and cute stuff. LOL. Like duh right. But there were stationeries, files, bags, etc. (basically stuff that you can buy for presents). I bought a glue and Zhiqi bought me an eraser! Super nice OMG. I really want to buy an umbrella ($29.90) and a bag ($39.90 I think!). Too expensive right.... :(

I did SS PT for a few minutes on Tues and I only started on 3 questions. OMG. I don't know how I'm going to finish it!

On Mon my tenant bought pizza and I ate 5 pieces of it plus 4 drumlets. SIAO RIGHT. And yesterday she bought again and I ate 4 pieces plus 6 drumlets. (Hey, "drumlet" can't be found in the dictionary! So it's not a real word?) Today she bought dumplings and Sichuan food.... OMG I think that if I continue eating like this, I'll be 80 kg by the end of the year!!

UU is seriously.... Borrow pencil, pen, correction tape and correction pen. I'm not a stationery shop eh. People keep borrowing hole puncher, scissors, scotch tape and glue. Please lor, if you need it, can't you just buy one -.- Not like they're very expensive right. Somemore she still borrow tissue from me. And after a few minutes, the rest of the packet just appeared on the floor. Although tissue is cheap, but she can't just do that right. And she always takes my stuff without even asking me.

I can't stand people borrowing tissue from me. I mean it's so cheap and if u know u need it, u can just bring on ur own right. Even if u don't know u'd need it, u can still put 1 or 2 packets in ur bag to 以防万一 right. It's not that I'm stingy or what, but it's so troublesome. And I bought about 40 packets of tissue last year. I don't even think I used 2 packets of it -.-

Yesterday we went to the recording studio to record Cheryl's song. I don't think it sounds very nice... As in my singing. The song is quite nice. But I sang without the lyrics so it's not nice.

Today was a total waste of time. REALLY. First lesson was Chinese and obviously we were all about 15 minutes late for lesson as usual. Then about 20-30min were spent on reading newspaper and the rest for going through worksheets. After that was recess and then Math. Mr Tan came late for class again (cos he couldn't read the timetable or something) so we only had 15min of Math. Chemistry was a free block since Ms Jazilah wasn't there. Physics was in the lab but we stayed in class and thought that SS didn't come, but yeah, she was in school. Anyway it was still quite lucky that we missed about 25min of lesson. The last lesson was English and Ms Picca wasn't there again... SO, in conclusion, we had about 90min of lesson today. OMG seriously school is a total waste of time. I pay so much money just for this?! What's the point man.

Today totally sucked. 6 lessons. Somemore 6 boring lessons. OMG

UU is like totally unbearable luh. Totally pissed me off today. I was trying to do my work and she kept talking to me or asking me questions every 30 seconds (or maybe less). It was so obvious that I was damn irritated but she either just don't get it or pretends not to know. She was totally disrupting my work and in the end, she finished everything while I only finished half of it..... SUCKS. And she just pops random quotes/fun facts and expects me to respond/laugh/sth. And when I just gave her the blank face, she would poke me (and doesn't she know that she's almost poking my boobs or sth?!). And now I really have no idea whether she is being truthful or she is just pretending to be nice but actually wants to see me die or fail my tests or whatever.

Today we handed in our argumentative essay and draft. When I typed bring the world closer, it somehow became bring the world colder. How nice is that! Heng Clarinda saw it...

Anyway, tomorrow Cheryl Chan and I will be recording her song. I'm singing demo for her and she's going to send it in for some competition :) Hopefully she'll win something. Or maybe some singer/company uses it!

Oh yeah I have a new cup... Again. This is at least my 3rd cup this year.... I wonder if breaking cups mean anything. None of my cups lasted more than 2 years. And that's not because I throw them away but because they always break in one way or another.... I woke up at about 3.30am today and I needed to pee but I was super thirsty too. So I took my cup and left it on my basin. Before I even started moving towards the toilet, it dropped and broke.... -.-

New Tenant

Yesterday a new tenant moved in. She's kinda weird, but quite funny luh. Her voice and the way she talks make her sound very fierce... LOL. And motivation for everyone who wants to lose weight: She's 170cm and she was 75kg. In less than half a year, she lost 25kg! Siao right!!! Now she's 50 and she keeps complaining that she's fat! (Not very long ago she was 45kg...) Anyway, you know 袁帅, from Mediacorp (former NAFA student I think) was her ex-bf. She said he's 180 and he's not handsome AT ALL. Haha. (And we realised that he stayed in the exact same flat as I did before I moved to woodlands after P6. And he moved in right after we moved out! So coincidental!)

OKAY I shall talk about oral first. We did oral on Wednesday. It was totally screwed!!! My reading was just normal.. With a few errors.. But the conversation/quote part was so lousy. I REALLY hope that i can get 18. OMG. Or just don't fail. The quote was about not being afraid of opposition. I interpreted it as opposition in terms of opinions. But the examiners asked me whether opposition is only in terms of opinions. I paused for like 5s or something and I answered that it can be physical opposition also. Then they asked me if it was only physical/point of view. So I was thinking VERY HARD and I said it can be in terms of circumstances also. They asked me whether it's always good to resolve global conflicts quickly and obviously I had to say no right. Then they asked me to give an example of that!!! OMG. Guess what I said. I said: sorry I can't think of any examples now! And she asked: Are you aware of any global conlicts?! And I mentioned the one between America and Iraq.... LOL. I'm so dead.

Yesterday after school Clarinda and I wanted to eat eclaire so we went to Bukit Panjang Plaza. In the end we bought bubble tea and I bought 5 small breads. The eclaire was kinda expensive. And I was totally broke. Anyway, we went to the 10-dollar shop. We saw quite a few dresses which costed 20 bucks. We bought the same dress for FAM. Hers is blue and mine's purple. Haha.

It doesn't look very nice like this. OK, it's not exactly VERY nice but still, it's quite okay for 20 bucks. Anyway I'm just gonna wear it for one day.

Yesterday I stayed up till 12.20 for SS FA.. How rare right. But my essay doesn't make sense at all. It doesn't answer the question :(

Yesterday I was trying to find Daniel Radcliffe's height. And guess what. He's 5'5 which is equivalent to 165cm! And in a forum someone actually said: Honestly, when you're as gorgeous as Daniel, short or tall doesn't matter. He's a beautiful fellow, whatever his height. :/

Anyway, today was kinda lame. And a total waste of time.

In the morning the class was taking photos with their ethnic costumes... Only a few of us didn't wear.. This year racial harmony day is so boring. We don't even have any activities.

Math lesson was totally unbearable. OMG. I can't believe there're people who fan-girl over him -.- Why are our school people sooooooo despo?! Siao. He's so rigid. And he think we're 5-year-old kids or what?

PE was super slack. We spent 40 minutes taking height and weight. Then the teacher let us off for recess..

Physics... I really don't think I should take it in JC.

Today I finished altering a very normal pair of three quarter pants into a very normal skirt.

But it took me 5 hours. OMG. My fingers hurt. No matter what, I'm still quite happy. I've always wanted to do this. But this is the first time I actually did it. Haha. And now I have a new skirt to wear :D (For some reason, my one and only skirt went missing D:)

Oh yeah, when I was sewing, there was this area where a few layers of cloth was on top of one another and I couldn't pull the needle through. So obviously, I used my teeth. AND guess what happened to the needle! It broke into 2! LOL!! Seems like my teeth are stronger than metal :)

I tried apple with peanut butter just now! It's quite nice :D

Oh yeah, today we got a new permanent Math teacher... He looks like Clarinda. And somewhat like a bird. He is super rigid. Much much much worse than SS :/

Today's crazy, in both bad and good ways.

Okay bad things first. It was so DAMN boring today. Philosophy, Math, History, Chemistry, English and Social Studies. They want to kill us or what? Odd week is totally unbearable!!!! I really wanted to die.

The worst thing is that 409 got 2 confirmed cases of H1N1, so their class got LoA and they can stay at home!!!!! But we can't!!! WHY!!! It's so unfair! OMG. AND THERE WON'T BE AIR-CON FOR THE WHOLE OF THIS WEEK (AT LEAST)!!!!! How do they expect us to survive when there's PE?! And it's Physics after that. GOD.

Good things. We bought Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie tickets already!!!! We're watching on Friday!!!! OMG SO EXCITING! :D

Everyone was crazy today! Clarinda and I ranked the five of us. From the craziest to the least crazy (this does not mean that she's not crazy at all): Cheryl Chan; Danielle and Jolyn tie; me; Clarinda. BUT, Clarinda goes to the 2nd place when she becomes crazy. Haha.

Haven't posted for... more than one week!!!! Not that I'm so hardworking but I'm obsessed with facebook games. They are quite lame but additive. I keep playing geo challenge, word challenge, chain reaction and bejeweled. And I just got 1st for bejeweled 5 minutes ago. Haha

Anyway, H1N1 is totally lame. They're so worried about it, yet they don't want to give us a holiday or e-learning week or sth!

School is sooooooo boring. I HATE History lessons. OMG. So damn boring luh. It used to be quite nice, but I have no idea why it became so boring. I really can't keep awake during the lessons.

And today we finished soccer assessment (which means we're gonna start on golf. Why are we learning it anyway... And who plays golf in the field...). I got hit by the ball so many times!!!!! It hit me in front, on the back, on my arm and like at least 5 times on my legs. And cos our lesson was first lesson, there was still quite a lot of dew. The field was so damn muddy!

Hai... one more day to weekends. Danielle and Clarinda are coming my house and we're making chicken wings in coke. Haha. They are like coming every Friday or something! Cheryl Chan and Jolyn ah. Always don't want to come. Too bad luh. Can't eat nice chicken wings!

Today's lessons were so slack. Better than I expected. Chinese was totally lame. We went late for lesson so we only had 40 minutes of lesson. 25 was spent on getting newspapers and reading them. Then Math seemed so short, probably because we were allowed to eat. Haha. Chemstry wasn't that bad also. We were just doing the worksheets. Physics was a practical session which I really hate but it passed by very quickly too! Last lesson was English. By the time we were back in the classroom, 15 minutes were already gone. As usual, Ms Picca told us some very interesting stories for like 15 minutes. Haha. Then she talked a little about oral and showed us some videos. And we took temperature at 1pm. END OF SCHOOL.

Clarinda and I went to the Bukit Panjang Plaza to eat. Then we shopped for a while, until about 3.30pm. After reaching home I started drawing again. Haha. I was trying to finish my drawing of Dean and Sam Winchester from Supernatural!

I know it doesn't really look like them, especially Sam, cos I only spent 1 hour on him. Dean sort of looks like (cos I think I spent at least 3 hours on him) but not that much also. From a certain angle, they look better. (Forgive me if you think it sucks since I don't know how to draw :D) I'll modify it when I'm free.

OKAY I REALLY NEED TO DO HOMEWORK. LOADS OF THEM WAITING FOR ME. I know everytime I end up doing something else but.. I will do something today. OK BYE!

The eyelid twitching theory doesn't work at all. Nothing good happened today.

History lessons are becoming more boring. I really can't stay awake. He just goes on and on about Nazis but I have no idea what he was talking about. And they expect us to read all the History notes?! I can never understand why some people love humanities.

I forgot to bring my file home so I didn't do anything today even though I had so much time.

I listened to songs for whole of today. And slept for 2 hours in the afternoon. How great is that.

Tomorrow's timetable is like... one of the worst days. Our odd week timetable is really unbearable. Monday was bad enough. Tomorrow we'll be having HCL, recess, Math, Chemistry, Physics and English. There're at least 315 H1N1 cases in Singapore already and they still want school to start on Monday?! Please, it's so dangerous! We're not like those rich kids who can go to school in cars okay. The risk of getting it is so high when we take MRTs! And there have been 2 cases involving students from our school. Even if they didn't go to school, it's still not entirely safe for us to go right. And, a lot of the new cases were from Republic Poly, which is like less than 1km from my house. Maybe even less than 500m.

Anyway, I sprained my ankle yesterday at Ngee Ann Poly.... -.- It was super bad yesterday after I reached home. It's the first ever time that a sprained ankle felt so painful. I sprained twice before and they weren't painful AT ALL.

Great, school is starting and I haven't done anything. I have to rush everything tomorrow I guess! And hopefully I won't get too distracted.

I haven't done Chinese and Math homework. And Physics. And I think we were supposed to get our Chemistry and Physics file ready for file check? :/

Oh this morning my mum was looking at my letter from POSB and she kept nagging. She said I spent all the money in the account despite my 50 bucks weekly pocket money. I haven't even gone out during holidays other than the science centre, which was erm, somewhat related to studies. So she can't blame me. I mean I have to buy presents for so many people. How can she expect me to get all that money from my pocket money.. And we watched like how many movies. Like 1 every week or something.

What to take in JC?

I was asking Ron about medicine progs in universities. He says the course is a total of 6 years, 5 years of study and 1 year of practice under mentor. After that we'll have a 4 or 5 year bond, during which we'll have to work in govt hospitals or something like that! He said can get 60 bucks per hour! imagine we work for 5 hours a day, and 20 days a month! Can earn 6000 already. OMG

He said we'll have to take Bio and Chem if we want to do medicine. If we take Phys and Chem, we will do jobs more related to engineering. Like chem engineering, architect, environmental engineering, material engineering, etc. So I guess I'll have to take Bio and Chem in JC!

Science Centre!

Today Zhiqi and I went to the Singapore Science Centre! Haven't been there since after P6. It has changed a lot! :D There're new exhibitions.

We went to the Leonardo da Vinci exhibition too. It was super cool! I advise everyone to go and take a look. You really have to admit that he is a genius. Not only could he paint well, he also has numerous inventions. It's quite weird that a person in the 16th century could think of such things!

Got back mid-year results today! So disappointing. Even though I didn't work hard this year, but still, I expected something higher, since some of my results improved. I got 3.33 only. Hai.. I wonder how I am going to take Chem in JC. I just can't do well for Chem tests. And um this year my History was totally screwed. I used to get 3.6/4.0 and now it's like what? 2.4... and it's 59%. I got 64% for Eng and 69% for SS. WTH. Can't they just give me 1 more percent. GOD. My mum will surely go crazy cos only 3 out of the 9 subjects are above median. Sucks. This totally sucks. The mid-year exams totally pulled everything down! If not I might have gotten about 3.5/3.6? About there... And my Math was like... ALL BECAUSE OF THE TRIGO TEST!!!

Anyway, Danielle and Clarinda came to my house today. We watched Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. LOL. We didn't really watch properly. Was talking.

1 week of holiday is almost over! And I didn't even do anything :( I really hope that I can get 3.6 at the end of the year. Seriously. And I hope I can get into ACS(I) for IB!!!

Ms Picca and Ms Siow talked to us on Thurs because some people told them that we pon PE lessons ("we" include, obviously, Cheryl Chan, Clarinda, Jolyn, Danielle and I). Please, on which day did we pon lesson? The definition of ponning is that we do not attend the lesson at all. And the fact is that we do attend. How can they say that we pon just because we may not be feeling to well for PE or sth?

1. We go down for PE every single time.
2. Everyone's late for PE, not only us. Just that we're walking at the back so we seem like the last few to reach. But obviously the whole class can't reach there at the same time right?
3. Some people sleep in class and don't even go down at all. If that's not considered ponning, then why do they say that we pon?
4. On Thurs, someone was in the library doing her Philo Argument Map even. And why didn't anyone tell the teachers about it?
5. Just because Cheryl Chan has long term MC and sometimes 1 or 2 of us can't take PE due to various reasons don't make all of us guilty of ponning PE right. It doesn't mean that we're always together, hence we even pon lesson together right? There hasn't even been once when all 5 of us didn't do PE.
6. Why does everyone have to go against our clique? It's not like we did anything to them?

Anyway, on Thurs, Cheryl Chan and I went for 蔡依林新歌发表会.

We were so lucky cos we got first row seats :D She sang 大丈夫, 妥协, 日不落, 降落伞 and 花蝴蝶. She was injured and she actually said that she wouldn't dance for 2 months but luckily, she still danced that day. In between there was a chance for audience to get presents, including a shirt from her brand! 丁志勇 chose 5 people and they had to perform a song. The best one would win. There was a guy from Jolin's fan club who was totally gay and funny. He said he could do any song and um people were shouting 舞娘 so he really did it. He danced that!! OMG it was so damn funny! He was already very thin and weird, so u can imagine how funny he looked when he did that. So sad I didn't record that down! Later he also did 大丈夫 hahahaha. Anyway, I think Jolin improved a lot. She sang really well!

Um I wanted to started Philo SA straight after I reach home and bathe but obviously I didn't.

I'm currently extremely obsessed over Solitaire. I have played it over 360 times in a few days :/

Oh man. There's PE tomorrow. And Eng. And choir :( So boring!!!

Got back Bio paper today. 20.5/40. It's so bad :( Now my GP for Bio is 3.2 only. It was originally 4.0!! I'm so angry. The questions were so vague. The meiosis question totally sucked. The question says the graphs shows the meiotic cycle and then the answer for the question involves fertilisation. How can fertilisation take place during meiosis?! It's not even part of the cycle -.- And the N14 N15 question totally doesn't make sense. They didn't even state clearly whether the N14 thing has gone through replication before it's put into the N15 solution.

My mid-year GPA is 3.2. About there. Everything was pulled down. Other than um Phys and SS (which was originally not very high anyway).

Haha Cheryl said we should reach expo at 4pm on Thursday for Jolin's concert (which starts at 8pm) so that we get good seats. LOL.

I'm quite happy that the school changed the GPA system. Now we don't count the average of all subjects but only 7 out of the 9 I have. The 5 core will be Eng, Chinese, Math, 1 Humans and 1 Sci. Then they'll take the highest 2 (out of the rest). This means my Hist and Chem will probably not be counted. Great!!

Oh yeah Cheryl Chan just told me that she has 2 tickets to Jolin Tsai's mini concert on Thurs!! OMG!! YAY!! So cool! I have never watched any concert before other than the 2009 New Year Countdown Concert.. Haha. Quite sad.

We finally ran 2.4km yesterday. Guess my timing! 17.40. Passed by 10 seconds. I was totally dying and after I ran my head was so dizzy that I couldn't walk in a straight line! Danielle was so funny. Her timing was 15.50. So while I was running on the other side of the track, she finished already. And I could see her collapsing onto the ground immediately after she finished. And I really mean collapse!! LOL!

After running my muscles cramps were so bad! I had to climb an overhead bridge after alighting 190 and I spent twice the normal amount of time trying to get to the other side! And when I was boarding and alighting all the buses, I was seriously in pain.

And this morning when I woke up, my menses came. How lucky right. OMG. And now I know why I couldn't do the 5 items. And why I felt weak.

So now my whole body is in pain other than my shoulders and arms -.-

Oh yeah we had Physics SPA. I thought it wasn't difficult. Quite easy actually. And they were kind enough to separate it into 2 parts so that even if we screw up the practical part, at least we could still do the theory part. But I couldn't answer one question. And I think the scales for my graph was very bad. I finished quite early and was left with 20 minutes. Then I thought I should change my scales so I spent about 10 minutes changing. But when I drew the best-fit line, I realised I couldn't get a value required for the question, so I HAD TO CHANGE IT BACK!!! OMG I was so pissed. When I was changing it, my heart was really beating very fast and my hands were almost trembling. (cos last year the exact same thing happened and I didn't manage to finish the graph. so I barely passed :/) But I think I should have drawn it the other way D: (okay my description is very vague because you know, we can't reveal anything about it right)

Okay this is crazy. Today I took PFT and guess what. I failed 3 out of the 5 items?!

First, standing board jump. 151cm is pass. Okay failing this may not be that crazy since I could never jump but I got 133cm only?! I mean normally the worst I do is 140cm++. Never 133 -.-

Second, I failed inclined pull up. I did 1 only eh. Seriously, although I'm not pro, but usually I can still do 4 okay. And today my hand felt so painful when I was holding onto the thing.

Third, shuttle run. I ran twice. Both 13s+. This is okay luh, but I was like laughing and wtv during the first run and it was still faster than the 2nd run?! How can it be? And since I could pass during all previous tests, I should pass this one. Isn't it?!

And, I think examiners make a HUGE difference. Danielle at first got 39cm for sit and reach. When she re-tried with Mrs Wee, she got like 48cm. Like WTH? And at first she got 0 for inclined pull up. Later she got 7. Shouldn't have wasted our strength at first.

Anyway, today my leg is so... 软.. Seriously. Even though I haven't exercised for ages, but still, I don't usually feel any muscle ache or wtv. But before I went home, my legs were not really working properly :/

OMG tomorrow there's Physics SPA. I don't know anything. I hope they'll give us all the equations and stuff.

And Philo SA. I don't know anything. Danielle and I keep on playing Bingo during the lesson! I bet one day the teacher will explode and scold us or something!

Yesterday we got back Bio prac. I got 17.5/22.... It's okay luh, but it's half a mark to 4.0, which is like the stupid-est thing ever. I got 12/12 for practical eh. but only 5.5/10 for the theory part :/

Today we got back Math and Chem. As expected, they are super horrible. But I'm happy enough that I passed! I got 24/44 for Math and 18/30 for Chem. If not for the stupid mistakes, I could have gotten at least 10 marks higher for Math and about 7 marks higher for Chem -.-

Hai... I bet I can only get 4.0 for Phys. The others are kind of impossible. And you know what, my Math overall is 69.5% and my Chem is 59.4%. How nice right. I hope they round up!!

SS and Hist are totally dead cos I felt so sick that I didn't even bother to do the tests properly. (This also includes Chinese, English and.. what else were there?) I hope I can get 3.2 for SS,Hist and Eng... And Chinese 3.6... That would make my GPA (assuming that they'll round up Math and Chem) about 3.42, which is erm, super far from my target. Oh god. The worst I will get is about 3.11. (Unless I fail SS and Hist. Or barely pass. Then it would be below 3.0)

OMG I have been having throat infection since 2 weeks ago, and now it's like super bad. I think my whole windpipe is infected (not only my throat anymore). I can feel phlegm everywhere and no matter how hard I try to cough it out, nothing comes out. OMG THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

I totally wasted the past 2 days on watching HIMYM, other shows and sleeping. I'm still having headache. I haven't started reading the English handouts. And neither have I started on History.

Yesterday morning I was having a really really bad headache. And I slept through the whole day. I went home early (missed English..). I reached home at about 1.10 and I slept from 1.30-7.30 pm. Siao right. When I woke up I was having fever so I went to see doctor. And guess what was my temperature? 39.7 degrees! Siao right. I'm very scared that my brain would get damaged and my IQ would become lower. :/

When I slept last night, I was sweating like mad. My whole body was wet and it was as if i just bathed or something! Now the same thing's happening. and my chair is wet :/ In the morning my temperature was 39.1. at 10 it was 38.6 and now it's 37.5!

Hai.. I've never gotten so sick before! So weird :/ I haven't fever for quite a few years and even if I get it, I just need to sleep for a few hours and I'd be fine.

Oh yeah I bought 10 roses for my mum on Thursday (for Mothers' Day) before the price raises. They're really pretty :) (haha we don't have vase..)

Today Danielle and Clarinda went to see doctor. They got MC!!! So good! And none of us went for PFT today. LOL. Oh Zhiqi told me she failed :/ Die alr. I don't think I can pass either.

My cousin just asked me to view the photos she took when she went 云南.. It's such a beautiful place! :D I want to go too. They actually wanted to buy me a ticket to fly back and go with them but obviously I can't.. My mum asked me whether I want or not also. But I think it's quite a waste of money to go back for a week. If I go back, I would want at least 30 days. If not, then better not. OMG end of year I want to go US or Canada or Japan or Taiwan! :D But Japan surely cannot. I don't even know Japanese. OMGOMGOMG. USUSUSUSUSUSUS!!!!

today we took social studies, physics and biology tests.

SS was kind of hard, even though we were allowed to analyze the paper and write contextual knowledge. I thought it was very hard for us to write the points. And I just crammed all the statistics into the essay.. I hope I will pass..

Physics was okay actually! Since it was data analysis, we didn't even need to know anything. But I couldn't understand the questions on the last piece of paper, which comprised of about.. half of the marks of the whole paper? then 10 minutes before the paper ended, I suddenly realised how to do!!! LOL. As in I thought it was like that. I hope it's correct. so the whole 50 minutes, first 10 minutes was reading and doing the front part. Then the next 20 minutes was for graph drawing (yes, I take very very long to draw curves..) 10 minutes for trying to understand the questions, and last 10 minutes to finish up... Hai.. So sad

Bio was so so screwed. It was so hard. And I studied for a total of 3 hours for it. So, you can imagine how bad it was.

Afterward we went to watch 17 Again. It was damn damn funny!!! LOL. The man inside was so damn crazy. He is the weirdest person on earth! (Oh I'm not referring to Zac Efron. It's the older guy.. supposedly his best friend in high school)

Today's Danielle's Sweet Sixteen! Happy birthday:D We went Lido to watch X-Men Origins Wolverine... It was quite nice but the ending was so anti-climax. Kind of lame... :/ Haha Cheryl Chan said she preferred Iron Man, which is obviously not as nice and is VERY lame. LOL

While Danielle, Clarinda and Jolyn were buying lunch, Cheryl and I went down to Isetan to buy her a cake. It was very nice:) AND VERY SWEET.

Today 14 people were absent from class. Haha. And Ms Siow was absent too. Virus is everywhere. Clarinda, Cheryl Chan and Danielle all didn't go to school! Only Jolyn went...

When I woke up in the morning, I totally lost my voice and I sound like motorcycle when I tried to hum.. LOL

Later it became better. I sang for a really really long time and my voice miraculously turned more and more normal... Now it's quite okay. But I'm still coughing...

Anyway, my plan, as usual, didn't work out. I wanted to mug today, but I ended up watching 康熙来了 and playing games... Only studied for about 1 hour. I sort of understand Chem now. Actually electrolysis is kind of easy luh.... Just a little confusing. Hopefully I can do the questions tomorrow!!! Math is completely screwed I think! I haven't started memorizing the formulas and when I tried very very hard to do the revision exercise 1 and 2, I couldn't solve half the questions :/ I don't know why :( I tried so many different ways and none of them worked. I'm so dead luh. They can't be so kind to give us easy questions right.. since the previous 2 SAs were too easy.. Oh man. Wish me good luck!

Yesterday I fell damn sick. I really thought that I was gonna die... I have never fallen so sick before...
I reached home at about 4.30, and I had been having a very bad headache since Math lesson, so i went to sleep. At about 6pm I woke up and realised that I had a slight fever. My headache was even worse. i got up to eat medicine and went back to sleep again. It took me damn long to fall asleep cos i had backache (it was super super super bad)! Then, I woke up at 7pm again. It was impossible for me to fall asleep again so I went to bathe. After that I started having chest ache. I could feel that there was something wrong with my lungs. I thought maybe I had food poisoning/lung cancer/something like that. My tenant cooked dinner for me and I ate a bit... After that I just lay around my house cos I felt so uncomfortable. At around 10+ I decided to go and see a doctor! and my mum just came home at 10.15pm...

The doctor said something like the tubes in my lungs were tight... so I got chest and back ache... I spent like $74.. that's the most I have ever spent on seeing a doctor... So damn ex lor. After I went home and took the medicine, I went to sleep... Felt much better this morning.

Anyway, Ron talked to me again. He asked me what is SS FA and when I told him, he said "omg. dat sucks. formative harrassment". LOL.
Me: yes... it was due on wed! and i still haven't done it! lol

Err I'm shocked that people don't know that bean sprouts are made from both yellow and green beans.. and when I told Clarinda and Danielle, they still argue with me!!! LOL

These are the normal ones we eat in school and outside (cos it's much cheaper and you don't have to cook for too long). These are grown from green beans... the top part is green!!!

This is grown from yellow beans (errr are they really called yellow beans? I think it's weird but wtv).. the thing on top is yellow and it's much bigger cos yellow beans are bigger than green beans! (so when they germinate, they have more than enough nutrients for the seedling, and not the whole thing is used up..)

Anyway, the mosquitoes are seriously the most irritating species on earth!!! OMG I have like at least 10 bites when I'm using the mosquito repellent?! ARG!!!!!

OH today's Math GA was screwed again.. NVM I still have 4 more chances... Bio SPA was okay.. We had more than enough time!

In case you don't know, Ms Picca wants me to sit right in front because I'm too talkative. Eh, please lor, during her lessons i can't even talk okay. Somemore i can't be talking to myself right? Why does she only put me in front? And obviously I'm not the only person talking right. Just because she always looks in my direction doesn't mean I have to sit in front right. So biased.

Anyway, on Friday, I totally gained weight. At around 3pm, I ate cheesy curry chicken and subway. At about 8pm-12am, I ate steamboat... :/ But steamboat was damn nice! I ate don't know how many plates of prawns and meat.... My mum's friend kept asking for more (cos it was buffet).

You know how rich my mum's friend is? Her husband has over 100million bucks. He's the boss/CEO of some petrol company.. She was saying oh she hasn't bought a bag for over 4000 bucks... and she said she wants to buy a house here even though she may not stay here for a long time. My mum suggested that she can buy a condo at the end of the year cos it's very likely for the price to drop. You know what she said? She said "oh, then the price of the bungalows in Newton, behind Shangri-La Hotel, will also drop right?" LOL. She said it costs about 3 million and she doesn't want to spend so much money on a house... But who would think of buying bungalows? And she was saying she can spend a few thousand bucks a day.. OMG DAMN LUCKY MAN.

Anyway, what's with the weather these few days?! It's so damn hot!!! No matter what I do, I'm constantly sweating... So horrible. Need to bathe so many times a day..

Today, Cheryl and I went to Lee Wei Song School of Music to record songs. Jolyn accompanied us. She recorded the song she composed and I recorded 真的(张韶涵). You know, the songs sound nice in the studio, but when I listened just now, it's just.. okay.. LOL. BTW imeem isn't working so i can't upload it now! :(

OH yes we got back English paper today! I got 31/50!!! OMG that's the highest ever mark I've gotten in my 4 years in RGS. (Almost 4..) Used to get 10/25 for compre and 15/25 for summary.. so it's just a pass. the highest was about 27 only :/

Wow, so even English is better than History and Chem. How nice. I want a 3.2 at least for both of them!!!! but it'll be hard... I don't really know how to write essays for history. as in i can't differentiate a good essay from a lousy one.. Chem should be okay. I have confidence that i will get at least 3.2!!! (okay i have to get that or my mum will....D:)

Our lives suck.

Yesterday went for choir. Though didn't stand for 3 hours, but still, my feet hurt. I think we really might get flat feet after 4 years in choir... And I have no idea why but I was so sleepy. Couldn't keep my eyes open... Tmr's audition. I don't know whether I should go..

Today's April Fools! Our class is really not creative.. They hid behind the whiteboard to scare the teachers again (exactly the same trick as last year).. And obviously the teachers didn't get frightened. Duh. But for SS, it was quite funny. Haha. Mrs Wee stayed behind and she hid inside! LOL SHE'S SO FUNNY! Afterwards, we planned to fall asleep one by one (cos u know Ms Lim doesn't let people sleep..). It didn't really work out luh lol. But she asked us to go to the toilet and wash our face if we were tired. Then almost the whole class went out! HAHA

Oh Jolyn (Band) had SYF today. They only got silver :( I can't believe it cos I heard them and they're good!! I bet the judges were biased. Jolyn just told me that they played well and their conductor even smiled.. Some people stayed back to watch. They said that Nan Qiao was good too and they sounded like our band. But they got silver too.. Why are the judges so weird? Later choir get bronze then die...

Watch this! It's a choir singing Ave Maria, the version we're singing for SYF. It's really really nice!! (Okay maybe you don't really know how to appreciate choir songs but I can promise that it's definitely one of the nicest in the world. The choir is damn pro! Great voices!! And their blending/tone/etc are all very very good!)

Haha haven't blogged for 10 days! I realised I'm always like that. Sometimes I would blog almost every single day but sometimes I just don't feel like blogging. It's kinda troublesome.. haha. Oh yes I'm using a laptop now :) My mum bought a quite-good Acer laptop from IT Fair and it's like $859!!! So cheap right! And looking at the memory and the processing stuff (I have no idea what they're called), this laptop is super good and cheap :D I spent the weekend installing programmes and stuff. I like the keyboard. I suddenly type faster :)

Today I had my audition for SYF. Guess what, I have to audition again in 2 weeks because my pitch was a bit off?! WTF?! You know what I had to sing? High G and A. Yes it's normal for Sop 1s, but under such circumstances, and with my stage fright, it's impossible to get it right okay. And singing it flat during audition doesn't mean i sing it flat when with the whole choir. And it's like people in other sections singer much lower parts. I mean even if I am damn nervous, if I'm asked to sing a lowG or middle G, obviously I can still sing it correctly. But please, it's high G and A. -.-

And the SLs don't have to go for auditions. Yes, they're SLs. But so what? It doesn't mean they're definiely better okay. And it's unfair.

Now I have to go for choir for 2 weeks, not knowing whether I can even go for SYF?! I'm not crazy okay. If I can't sing normally for that audition, then I'd be wasting my 2 weeks! Crazy ah.

I'm quarreling with my mum AGAIN. Great.

She's seriously 不可理喻. And I mean it. This shows what problems generation gap causes. And just because she's unlucky and was born in that kinda family doesn't mean I have to be just as unlucky as her and have the same fate okay.

And now she claims that she's the only person earning money and supporting the family. So i'm SUPPOSED to do everything at home. LIKE HOW IS THAT RELEVANT? Yes, maybe it's hard for her, but so what? she just thinks that whatever I help her with is my obligation and she doesn't appreciate even 0.000000000000001% of it?! I really don't want to say this but whatever. FUCK.

And it's not my fault that she's the only one doing the work. My dad doesn't want to come back then what does she expect me to say/do? Kidnap him and bring him back here?

Yes, my results suck and I HATE studying, so what? I can't afford to go overseas anyway, and even if I work hard, scholarship isn't that easy to get. Somemore I'm not even a Singapore citizen. And does she have to keep comparing me with other people? so what if their GPAs are high? Look at them! I don't think they'll survive in the society half as well as I will. What we learn in school will not be the least useful in the future unless we want to be scientist and doctor and sth (which I will not be!)!!!

OMG can you believe it?! I lost the notes people wrote to me for birthday!!! ARG!!! I turned my house upside down and I can't find them!! :((((( I left them on the sofa when I got back home from Founder's day cos I was too tired to keep them and I totally forgot about them till now. But I have no idea why I can't find them! If my mum accidentally threw them away, I..... !!!

Anyway, I was looking at the letters and notes people wrote to me in the past 3 years.. They really bring back good memories. (But you know, some people are so fake. Like you-know-who said something like I have only talked to you 11 times this year. We should talk more, etc. WOW I'm amazed. Why would she count how many times we talk?! SO DAMN FAKE LUH.)

So unfair!!!!

Okay, today we went for SCWO. It's not that I didn't try listening to the 3-hour talk by 3 people, but seriously, I couldn't stand it. So Clarinda and I were talking throughout! A total of 3 women talked. About feminism. I mean it's sort of related to us, but still, do they have to spend 3 hours on that? The first lady came in and said "I only have 40 min for this, so I'll have to hurry" (or something like that) and I was like "WTH?!" 40 min.. Only... Great

And the thing is, we sat there from 9.30am-12.30pm. The other group who went for AWARE spent only 1hr 20 min there! From 1-2.20pm. So unfair right?! And they could walk around the place, and not only sit there and listen. OMG SO PISSIFYING!!!

Another thing is, I can't stand people who wear tights. It's so gross!!!!! Skinnies are bad enough and people dare to wear tights just like that?! I mean even the super short shorts are better cos at least the material isn't so thin. If they wear tights, why not just walk around in underwear?! GOD.

Tomorrow we are going for Eng. I'm going SCWO... Register number 26-35 (I think) are going AWARE. Seriously, why do we have to spend like 4 hours in that kinda place. Wonder what we'll be asked to do there.

And tomorrow we have to do Math PT. It's so screwed luh. Our report is totally dead. I just started on it. No idea whether the others have started. And uhh Lin is no where to be found...

LJ - The Marina Barrage

Today we went barrage with Ms Sharon Siow and Mr Daniel Lau. Some stuff were quite cool luh. I loved the solar panels. LOL. They cost 1 million altogether you know. That's crazy. There're abt 500 of them. So each (of about 50cm x 100cm) is about S$2000. Haha. At first I was still telling everyone that I wanted to have them all over my roof in the future... But spending a million on them is crazy!!!!!

I brought a packet of sweets, and after I took 3 from it (gave 1 to Zhang Wei), it went around and came back to me with only 1 left... -.-

Oh yes, the only thing i remember is what Ms Siow said. When we went back to school, it was raining quite heavily, so the bus driver wanted to stop at the foyer, but some people just got down from another bus and were blocking the way so the bus couldn't turn in. Ms Siow said Just press the Bee and scare the hell out of them!! OMG damn funny right?! LOL
